Brian Nickel

Brian is a graduate from Montana State University in Bozeman, Montana with a Masters of Architecture. He is focused on delivering quality projects with fabrication in mind. He is the co-founder and software project architect for Fabrication Tools for Revit. He began working on the application about four years ago due to frustrations with the conventional Revit approach to assembly creation.

Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering from “Anhanguera University” and in Product Design from “Faculdades Adamantinenses Integradas”. Technician Degree in Software Analysis from “Faculdade de Tecnologia de São Paulo”. Strong knowledge of engineering, mathematics and Autodesk products including official Autodesk certifications on Revit Architecture, Revit Structure, Revit MEP and 3d Studio Max.

For the past 6 years started to dive into the Revit API to explore opportunities and to leverage customizable Building Information Modeling workflows for clients and partners, resulting in 6 products running in production to a large user base scale. Also experienced on Autodesk Forge development for real-time cloud-based interaction with engineering data, and proven experience of nearly three thousand hours on several Autodesk APIs.

Raphael is a graduate from Mato Grosso Federal University, Brazil. With a background of mobile and web development he is focused on developing solutions that enhance Revit's capabilities and allowing a better user experience. He is also responsible for the development of integration with other platforms, like BIM 360.

Fausto Mendez

Fausto Mendez is a seasoned veteran of the electrical trade since 2003 for both commercial and industrial. He has had many roles from Journeyman Electrician to IT Director to Virtual Construction Technology Manager. Fausto has extensive experience dep! v/ng secure databases and servers for multi-layer finance network operations. He has also developed a set of computer programs and workflows as well as BIM Standards for an Electrical Contractor.

Currently, Fausto is a skilled software developer for add-ins to Autodesk products including: AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks and Autodesk Fabrication. Together with other key players, he developed and co invented Revit addins. He is also the developer of the Revit Renumbering Tool. He is proficient in the following programming languages: C++, C#, Python, PHP, JavaScript, LISP and Assembly.
